LTG Vision

When I began to envision what might happen if we as a church got serious about Bible Study, confession of sins, and prayer for lost friends I seriously had trouble thinking about anything else!  I thank God the Holy Spirit led me use the book "Search and Rescue" in our Life Balance Class since that is how I came to know about LTG's.  Practically it makes so much sense,  Get people to read more scripture and let the scripture itself change them.  After all, we know that we have little hope of achieving life change in ourselves and the people we minister to using our own natural abilities.  As the Holy Spirit changes us we in turn will be lights in darkness that will draw others to Christ.  I see LTG's as something that is viral.  It starts out as a small thing with seemingly little impact, but sooner that we can imagine more and more people become infected as we share and involve others in the process.  I believe that as our growth in Christ continues the Holy Spirit will open up new ministry opportunities and more people will come to a personal relationship with Jesus.  I know that I will be promoting involvement in an LTG almost ad nauseum because I believe they are the answer for the lack of passion for Jesus we see today.  Thanks, Mark F.
